Chicago Photobloggers @ Air & Water Show
The next Chicago Photobloggers meetup and shootout will be held Sunday, August 21, 2005 at 9 am at the Chicago Air and Water Show. We'll meet up at the Starbucks inside the lounge of the Westin Hotel at 909 N. Michigan Avenue right across from the John Hancock Center. Bring broad brimmed hats and plenty of sunblock -- not to mention your cameras. It's always a great street and people photography extravaganza -- oh, and the planes are interesting, too, as well!

One of these days I'll be able to meet up with you guys. This Sunday I'll be on a honest-to-goodness real life Indiana Jones adventure. My friend Ellen (anthropologist extraordinaire) and I will be search for a effigy mound that was discovered and recorded in the 1930's along the Des Plaines river. Hopefully I'll bring back some pics!
Have fun guys, keep those silver flasks under wraps, we don't want to have to bail any of you out of jail.

I had a great opportunity to take some photos of the planes and even fly with the Lima Lima Flight Team at the Press Day for the air show on Thursday.
